The PestVets Council assists MPCA with creating awareness among military veterans of the pest management industry as a potential career choice, and educating the MPCA membership on how to recruit and hire military personnel.

Mission: 

The mission is to make Pest Management an industry of choice for veterans in Mississippi, to be recognized as the best industry for veterans to work in, and to be an industry that supports veterans.

Goals:

1. Create awareness of pest control career opportunities in the pest management industry.

2. Provide transition guidance to service members entering civilian employment in the industry.

3. Recognize military veterans for their industry contributions.

4. Give back to the military community and show appreciation for active military, veterans and their families.
